Julie Meyer, RD is a nutrition communications specialist and freelance journalist with 13 years experience translating the science of nutrition into the pleasure of eating. She has worked with leading public relations agencies and food manufacturers, including Fleishman-Hillard, Burson-Marstellar, Ogilvy PR and FoodMinds, LLC with clients including (US) National Dairy Council, The Dannon Company, Cadbury-Schwepps, Kellogg’s, The Quaker Oats Company, The Minute Maid Company and Good Humor-Breyers.
Julie has been a nutrition columnist for Shanghai Family magazine. She has also been a contributing writer to Women’s Health magazine on nutrition-related topics and a frequent contributor to magazines including Fitness, Self, Shape, Eating Well, ePregnancy, REAL magazine and WeightWatchers.com. She has also been quoted as a nutrition expert in many publications including The New York Post, Cooking Light, Pregnancy, Self and WeightWatchers.com.
After two successful years in Shanghai ,Julie repatriated to Brooklyn, NY in January 2011. She is also mom to two healthy daughters – both of whom thrived in Shanghai.

Margaret Keefe is a registered dietitian with many years of nutrition counseling both in the US and Shanghai. Her experience covers the spectrum from clinical to community. Margaret has been quoted and has written for local publications in the US and Shanghai.
Currently Margaret, founder of the Shanghai Nutrition Practice Group, consults for Shanghai United Family Hospital. She welcomes the opportunity to join Eat Well Shanghai and thus adding another dimension to her nutrition career.
Margaret and her husband have lived in Shanghai since 1996, (yes , that long) successfully raising two sons and a daughter.
