Well, this isn’t exactly a topic on eating well, but I wanted to make sure y’all knew about this. I met a super interesting woman yesterday who is on the board at LifeLine Shanghai. For those of you who don’t know it, LifeLine is a non-profit organization, providing emotional and logistical support to the international community living in Shanghai. The folks at LifeLine are ready to talk and listen, no matter how big or small the problem may seem.
One of the reasons I started Eat Well Shanghai is because I was having waaaay too many LifeLine-esque days and needed somewhere to channel my energy. I tried to be very upfront in my book about how hard it has been for me, and maybe you have felt that too. So, LifeLine is a good support for us, so lets support them!
Here is information on Friday’s event. I would definitely be there – but I am going to America! And, here is how you can get in touch with them if you need them: free, anonymous and confidential support over the phone from 10am-10pm – 6279 8990 or www.lifelineshanghai.com
